A private sanctuary for poets.
Write with a quiet guide beside you: syllables and stress as you type, rhymes you can question, and a Word Garden of your own words. The app shows words and moods. The poem stays yours. Fully offline.

The craft
Quiet tools, a steady hand
Everything runs on your phone. Nothing leaves it.
Live rhythm guide
A syllable and stress gutter that counts as you type, and names a meter only when most of your lines agree.
Rhymes you can question
Perfect, near, assonance and matching endings. Tap the note on any rhyme to see why it was offered.
Your Word Garden
Plant the words you love. They are offered first, and a planted rhyme remembers the word it answers.
Forms, not formulas
Haiku, tanka, ballad stanza, sonnets, limerick, villanelle, free verse and more. You choose; the page keeps time.
Hear it, record it
Narrated recitation, or record your own voice. Hear where the line stumbles before anyone else does.
Private by design
No internet permission, no ads, no analytics, no account. Your poems live in your vault on your phone.
New in 2.2.0
Beyond the page
Songs, pictures, films and books, all made from the poems you have already written, all on your phone.
Turn a poem into a song
Start a new song, or make one from a poem you have already written. The studio keeps your syllable count beside every line.
- Chords sit over the very syllables they belong to.
- Rhyme colours show how your lines answer one another.
- Hear a chord progression before you choose it.
- Sing along to a count-in and the chords, and keep your takes with their lines.
Your poem on your own picture
Choose a picture and your stanzas become slides: a title card first, then one card for each stanza, with the syllable count beside every line.
- Only pictures you own, or that are free to use. The app asks you to confirm.
- Pick which slides to export, and share them as images.
- Nothing is uploaded. The picture stays on your phone.
A film of your poem
Set the narrator, the breath between lines and a soundscape behind the words. Add a picture, preview the opening, then export.
- Delivery profiles: expressive, serene, solemn, ethereal.
- Soundscapes: rain on parchment, hearth vinyl, mountain wind, bamboo chimes, or a poetic metronome.
- Story, square and widescreen shapes.
- Made on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere.
A chapbook from your poems
Gather poems into a collection, add a cover from your own artwork, and step through the pages as they will print.
- A5, 6 × 9 inch or A4 pages.
- Typefaces, paper colours and the marks between poems.
- Edit a poem in place, and add a dedication, an introduction or an ISBN.

Privacy Policy for Zen Poetry Architect
At Neoratek Labs (“we”, “our”, or “us”), we believe poetry, contemplation, and creative writing are sacred, intimate acts. We have architected Zen Poetry Architect™ from the ground up as an uncompromising, offline-first digital sanctuary and publishing engine.
This Privacy Policy explains our architecture, data handling practices, and our solemn guarantee regarding your verses, personal identity, audio recordings, and device storage.
01Zero Network Connectivity & Air-Gapped Architecture
Zen Poetry Architect does not declare, request, or utilize Android internet permissions. The application cannot communicate with external servers, cloud databases, analytics providers, or ad networks. All natural language processing (NLP), CMU pronouncing dictionary scansion, Piper neural TTS synthesis, VADER emotional cadence scoring, kinetic video rendering, and database queries are executed 100% on your device’s physical CPU and GPU hardware.
02Local Sandboxed Storage & Absolute Author Ownership
Your poems, titles, custom metrical forms, audio takes, and project drafts are stored exclusively within an isolated, sandboxed SQLite database using Android Jetpack Room on your internal device storage. Neoratek Labs does not have access to your database. You retain 100% intellectual property ownership and copyright of everything you compose, record, or export through the application.
03Device Media & Google Play Scoped Storage (Target SDK 36)
Zen Poetry Architect strictly adheres to Google Play Target SDK 36 Scoped Storage standards:
- System Photo Picker: When selecting custom backgrounds or imagery, the app invokes Android’s official system Photo Picker. The application never requests broad read/write access to your photo gallery.
- Export Destinations: Exported 1080p MP4 video poems and audio recordings are written strictly to standard, user-accessible app-scoped directories via Android MediaStore (e.g.
Movies/ZenCinemaFilmsandMusic).
04Microphone Permissions & On-Device Audio DSP
The microphone permission (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) is used exclusively when the poet manually taps record in the recitation studio:
- Audio recordings remain strictly in local temporary cache files on your device.
- Our multi-tier DSP noise reduction filter (15dB to 40dB) processes sound directly on your phone’s processor without sending raw audio anywhere.
- Microphone hardware access is immediately severed the millisecond recording finishes.
05Local Diagnostic Logging & Strict Privacy Sanitization
The app maintains a local diagnostic text file (app_logs.txt) to verify autosave integrity and render health:
- Strict 512 KB Cap: Logs automatically rotate when reaching 512 KB to prevent disk bloat (maximum total disk footprint ≤ 1 MB).
- Zero Sensitive Data: Diagnostic logs never record poem verses, stanza wording, or personal identities.
- No Automatic Telemetry: Logs are never sent in the background. A poet may only share diagnostic logs by explicitly tapping “Send Diagnostics” in Settings, which opens their own email client.
06Zero Third-Party SDKs & Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Zen Poetry Architect contains zero advertising networks, zero commercial analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Facebook SDK), and zero biometric trackers. The application complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policies, as it does not collect any personal information from any user of any age.
07Daily Reminders, Notifications & Other Permissions
Besides the microphone, the app declares a small set of standard Android permissions. Each is used only on your device:
- Notifications (
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): shows the optional daily writing reminder. Reminders are off until you turn them on in Settings, and you choose the time and days. Unless you write your own reminder text, the notification may show the title and first lines of a recent poem from your own vault, built on your phone; it is never sent anywhere. - Vibration (
android.permission.VIBRATE): gentle haptic feedback, adjustable in Settings. - Background scheduling: the reminder is scheduled with Android’s own WorkManager. At the time you chose, the system briefly wakes the app to post one notification, then schedules the next. The app runs no persistent background service and does not keep working while you are away. Android’s WorkManager library adds the permissions
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED(to restore your reminder after a restart),WAKE_LOCK,FOREGROUND_SERVICEandACCESS_NETWORK_STATEto the app automatically; the app makes no network requests (see section 01).

Questions
Good to know
Does it really work offline?
Yes. The app asks for no internet permission at all. Dictionaries, rhymes, voices and video export run on your phone.
Does the app write my poem?
No. It shows words, rhymes and moods; you write. Words you plant in your Word Garden come first.
Where do I get it, and which phones?
On Google Play, for 64-bit Android phones and tablets running Android 8.0 or newer (almost every phone sold in recent years). 3 GB of RAM is needed, 6 GB is better for video export.
Is there a free trial?
The Play version is a one-time purchase. If you would like to test the next version early, join the beta circle above.
What do you do with my poems?
Nothing. They never leave your phone. See the privacy policy.
